This kit is of the screw in type and requires you to drill an 8mm hole in the side plate of your reel. The all brass and stainless steel construction makes it ideal for fishing or the tournament field and the single rare earth magnet winds off in a clockwise direction, 1mm per turn of the knob; when spun up the reel spool will spin for approximately 15 seconds with the brake full on and anything up to 2 minutes at full off.
