The DVice is a cleverly designed casting weight. As well as casting a very long way it has the capacity to carry your hook bait, large or small, completely protected from the rigours of casting and with the ultimate in streamlined delivery. In fishing terms, this means you get to present a perfect bait a very long way and can even fish a live Sandeel or Prawn at distance with no detrimental effects on the bait! This is achieved by the addition (to the lead head of the unit) of a toughened tube into which you insert your hook baits. The lead head part of the DVice has some cleverly designed channels which on impact with the water allow your hook baits to be gently released by the flow of water through the tube. This is the ultimate anchoring weight from the DVice stable. Designed to take big baits into fast waters such as the Bristol Channel, Selsey Bill and Dover Breakwater it could quite easily be of use to uptide boat fishermen.
